Ancient Roman Medical Set Terracotta Containers and Bronze Tools

Ca. 100-300 AD Very interesting Ancient Roman Medical set comprised of small terracotta plates and set of bronze tools. Such instruments may have been used as surgical instruments. However, they also were used for mixing and applying medicines.

Provenance: Obtained from a B.C.F; previously in a collection formed in the 1980s on the UK art market.
